Set up time depends on the scope of work. However, we always like to start our setup a little in advance so we have enough time for dry runs.
There will be technical support staff at the venue as well as engineers at the console at all times. Our Audio, Video and Lighting departments have separate setup technicians and engineers to handle the console for each department. Our staff will always be present with you right from the time of set-up until the teardown has been completed.
Outdoor events are very popular in Goa and our equipment is planned in a manner that allows both outdoor and indoor usage. However, we don’t use our equipment outdoor during the monsoon unless we are provided with a waterproof structure.
LumaSonic is divided into five operations departments which are Audio, Visual, Lighting, Trussing & Logistics. Apart from logistics, each department has its own engineers/designers, assistant engineer, technicians, stagehands and is overlooked by the General Manager.
Employees at LumaSonic have technical certification for handling technical equipment that is required at your event. Our employees go through regular online certifications as well as internal training which keeps them updated on their roles. Technicians must complete theory as well as practical training before they are allowed to handle and set up equipment for your events.
We work on a per project basis and hence all solutions offered by us are always custom. We try our best to stay away from the generic everyday solutions.
There are a handful companies and vendors in Goa that provide high-quality sound systems, but the equipment is only as good as its engineer’s capabilities. With our team of highly trained professionals and engineers, we are ecstatic that we find ourselves among the top names on that list. Our primary P.A. system is manufactured by Adamson Systems Engineering, which is a world-class sound system and is preferred by some of the biggest artists in the world. Rider friendly audio in Goa isn’t a concern if you choose to work with LumaSonic.
Yes, at LumaSonic we have one of the highest specification curved LED wall in India that is housed in Goa. With a pixel pitch of P 3.91 that can curve at (+/-) 2.5, 5, 7.5, and 10 degrees, it allows for fascinating custom concave and convex shapes, which add a touch of grandeur to your event. All lamps used are Nationstar SMD 2020 gold wire and are set on a 4 layer PCB.
Before we begin a setup, a load calculation is done for all lift points. All electrical cables are grounded as per the electrical safety norms and cables used are of a higher gauge than mandatory. Earthing leak detectors, voltage and frequency monitors are a mandatory element of every power distribution system we use. The staff on site have been provided uniforms that include safety shoes, gloves and tool kits.
